Tartar

The legendary warrior tribes of the Tartars were said to store their meat between horse and saddle as they rode. This is the origin of the term denoting this delicious meat dish. To achieve best quality we use the finest beef only, preferably from the fillet. The basis of the dish consists of a mixture of salt, pepper, Tabasco, onions and chives as well as a soup spoon of our Tartar-relish. We believe – and many of our regular guests agree – that we have thus created an ideal composition guaranteeing maximum tartar delight.

Of course our guests may choose from a great number of variations on top of the basic recipe: capers, cognac, whisky, calvados … the sky is the limit! Design your own individual tartar; we are eager to see it!
